Snow Removal Plan

SNOW REMOVAL PLAN

City crews will begin plowing streets after approximately 3 inches of snow has accumulated in the downtown corridor. City streets are divided into three priorities. These priorities are based on several criteria including school bus routes, population density, alternative routes, etc. When the First Priority Streets are cleared, the crews will move on to Second Priority Streets, and finally on to Third Priority Streets.

During severe winter storms, Third Priority streets may not be plowed for several days.

The City of Stevenson is responsible for snow and ice removal on City streets only, WSDOT maintains Highway 14 and Skamania County Road Department is responsible for streets outside of City Limits.

The City does not plow driveways, these are the responsibility of the homeowner. Contact City Hall with any questions 509-427-5970.
