The City of Stevenson contracts with the Skamania County Building Division to provide permitting, plan review, and inspection services ensuring buildings are safe for our Citizens.  To apply for a building permit for a project within the City of Stevenson please go to: CloudPermit.

The Skamania County Building Division reviews, issues, and inspects permits for:

• Building
• Mechanical
• Plumbing 

In addition, the staff of the Skamania County Building Division is part of the City’s emergency operations team providing post-event evaluations of buildings to determine if they are safe. The Skamania County Building Inspector also serves as the Fire Marshall and is responsible for fire inspections per the International Fire Code.
