Dog Licensing

All dogs in Skamania County that are at least six-months old are required to be licensed. Licenses are issued for the calendar year (Jan 1 – Dec 31), and are required to be renewed each year. To obtain a license, you must provide a valid (current) Rabies Certificate from your veterinarian.

You can purchase your license by visiting the County Auditor’s office at 240 NW Vancouver or you can print out the form below and mail your payment (PO Box 790, Stevenson, WA 98648). Please remember to include a copy of the Rabies Certificate for the dog. You must also include proof the dog is spayed or neutered if you are claiming the lower cost (this is frequently on the Rabies Certificate).

• Spay/Neutered Dogs $7.50
• Senior (Age 60) Non-spayed/ Non-neutered Dogs $11.25
• Senior (Age 60) Spayed / Neutered $3.75
• Duplicate/Replacement Tags $1.00
