Capital Improvement Program

The common sense plan to coordinate projects, maximize efficiency and budget for the future.

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM

The Capital Improvement Program (CIP) is a proposed list of all projects planned within the city limits for the 20 years following adoption. The CIP, reviewed annually, represents those projects already in progress through grants as well as those preliminary projects identified through an involved evaluation process.  The list is used to coordinate projects, maximize funding funding applications and to aid in budgeting. There are two public hearings held to gain feedback on proposed projects and the final list is expected to be adopted by the City Council by July 1st of each year. The process typically starts at the May regular council meeting and ends at the June regular council meeting. Additional workshops, hearings or meetings may take place.

Current and past adopted plans are below.
