Background Plans & Studies

Knowing what we’ve been in the past will help us shape Stevenson into what it will become in the future. Stevenson’s downtown has been the focal point of this part of the Gorge since it was platted in 1893. In that time, there have been numerous plans, studies, analyses and visions that have shaped it into the place it is today. A long, but unfortunately not exhaustive, list of those efforts is included and summarized here. A sample of those documents are included below and all are available upon request.
