Project consists of conducting a city-wide traffic study to allow for safe and easy flow of traffic and assist with identifying and prioritizing improvements.

Status Updates
December 2022 - The report has been finalized and uploaded to the website. It will be presented to council and discussed at the January 16, 2023 council meeting.
June 2022 - Identified projects were included in the six-year Transportation Improvement Program.
November 2021 - Feasibility study is under way for potential projects.
October 2021 - Analysis is being done and the draft report will be completed the first week in November.
September 2021 - Additional data was collected on September 9th, which included the use of drones, around the schools and tracking the drop-off and pick-up traffic.
August 2021 - Data collection has been completed. The intern, Alex Ralston, began August 2nd and has begun by scoping out the parking study for inclusion into the Plan.
July 2021 - Data collection using traffic counting cameras will begin the week of June 14th. The cameras do not have facial recognition, nor do they record license plates. They are only tracking and reporting traffic patterns.
June 2021 - A kick-off meeting is scheduled for June 9th.
