City’s Role

  • As a City it is our responsibility to maintain essential services and support our public health partners.
  • During a public health emergency, Skamania County Public Health in conjunction with the Washington State Department of Health are the lead agencies.
  • The City is taking action to slow the spread of COVID-19 and amplify the messages, recommendations and preventative measures of the lead agencies.

The City will close City Hall to the general public beginning Friday, March 20, 2020 and until further notice. Citizens may pay utility bills, acquire licenses, submit permit applications, contact staff, and transact other City business via telephone, email, and online. The City will allow for curbside pickup and drop-off. Appointments can also be made by contacting City Hall.


Utility bills may still be paid online here or dropped off in the mail slot outside the front door of City Hall.
