STEVENSON WASTE WATER
The City of Stevenson’s Waste Water Treatment Plant was upgraded in 1992 with a new Oxidation Ditch Facility and was designed for 0.450 Million Gallons per Day maximum monthly flow and a design population equivalency of 1,455. The collections system consists of 490` connections, 5 pump stations, and approximately 45,000 feet of collection lines. Daily operations of the plant and bio-solids removal are contracted through a private company, CH2M Hill. The City of Stevenson is currently in the process of updating their General Sewer Plan which is required under WAC 173-240, before any process changes or upgrades to the sewer plant can begin. The City consistently meets or exceeds Washington Department of Ecology requirements related to the effluent that it discharges to the Columbia River.
