Board of Adjustment
Appointed by the City Council, the Stevenson Board of Adjustment ensures that the City’s land use and development regulations are applied in a fair and consistent manner. The Board of Adjustment does this by hearing and deciding appeals of administrative actions made pursuant to the City’s land use and development regulations and by hearing and deciding variance proposals for projects within the City.
The Board of Adjustments meets only on an as-needed basis in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 7121 East Loop Road. Meeting dates and times are determined on a case-by-case basis and publicized by mailing notice to nearby property owners, publishing notice in the Skamania County Pioneer¸ and posting handbills near the subject property.
